Paintings created for friends and family.
Commissioned by my friend Deddie at work for her partners birthday,
'Deb's Garden'

this next picture was created for a close family member who lives in France
'High on a Hill Top'

and this next one was inspired by a holiday that the same person took to Botswana. 'The Long Way Home'

'The Orange Tree', version 1 - this painting was created as a leaving present for a friend when she left her job.

'Louise; A Time Of Celebration!' - a portrait of my niece, set on the docks in Bristol. Presented to her on the day she received her degree in nursing.

'Morning Glory' - one of my earlier paintings that I did at the request of my step-mother-in-law. This photo I took for my records and was a quick snap taken in situ (under glass) in her home.

'Indian Temple' - a commission for a friend (as a birthday present for her sister). I always find commissions tricky. You need a certain amount of guidance from them to make sure you are heading in the right direction and are going to produce something that they will like. Too much input from your client can stop the creative flow and none at all can leave you floundering. The guidance I received for this painting was that her sister liked elephants, cats and football.

'Brean Down' - painted for my friend Jean.
